Black Horse

In the third Dark Paradigm instalment, Zoe Bowen — sister to Frank and Joe — is working deep inside a London financial institution when her partner is found dead in what the coroner is quick to call a suicide. Zoe is not quick to agree.

As she pulls the thread, a pattern emerges: bankers and commodities traders dropping in eerie succession, each one seconds from blowing a whistle on something bigger. What begins as grief-driven curiosity becomes a full-blown corporate counter-intelligence operation aimed at a cabal-run plot to engineer a worldwide drought and seize control of the global food supply.

Zoe enlists her brother Joe and, through him, Liberatus hacker Haleema Sheraz, to infiltrate a front-corporation before the weaponised drought can tip the planet into the apocalyptic event the series has been building toward.
